career Opportunities

RN Management

Registered nurse management team members oversee the care of residents. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing nursing services and oversight of social programming for residents; communication with physicians, families, staff members and other health care professionals; management of nursing staff performance and nursing care reporting, documentation, planning, implementation and evaluation.

RN

Registered nurses at Elderwood are indispensable members of the interdisciplinary team we assign to each resident and subacute patient. Their responsibilities include overseeing resident care, including completing MDS assessments, care plans, immunization records and supporting documentation; managing IVs and blood draws;; operating scanning machines;; supervising nurses and nursing assistants, and transcribing medical orders. Working with our physicians, they are a critical liaison to residents and their families. Our nurses enjoy a unique opportunity to gain extensive clinical experience and provide advanced care in a home-like setting.

LPN

As indispensable members of an interdisciplinary team, licensed practical nurses at Elderwood are charged with managing the daily clinical regimen of each resident and subacute patient. Their responsibilities include overseeing resident care, including completing MDS assessments, care plans, immunization records and supporting documentation;; administering medications and treatments, and supervising nursing assistants. Working with our physicians, they are a critical liaison to residents and their families. Our LPNs enjoy a unique opportunity to gain extensive clinical experience and provide advanced care in a home-like setting.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, certified nursing assistants provide personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood skilled nursing facilities.

Home Health Aide (HHA)

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, certified home health aides provide care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood assisted living facilities.
